Sunday again! Yesterday I met up with some Northen England bloggers which was really awesome, I had a great day so thanks guys! They bought LOTS of books, but I'm still on my book buying ban because I've still not made any major inroads into my TBR pile *sigh*
So if I haven't bought any books how can I be doing an IMM I hear you cry? Aha well...
For review this week I got:
EVERYONE has read/reviewed this book and it sounds so good I just had to ask for it! Thanks to Jenny at Egmont for being kind enough to send it to me
From the Library:
I got the first book, Need, for my kindle at the bargain price of about £1 and then Bloomsbury sent me the 3rd one for review. So I checked the library and managed to find Captivate-so now I can read em all!
Won:
I won Delirium in a twitter contest held by Midnight Reads, thankyou very much!
Lent:
Vickie from ComaCalm's Corner lent me this which I'm ridiculously excited about!
I've had a really bad week in terms of reading this week, and am now really behind on my 30 books in 30 days challenge. I moved home from uni on Wednesday, which meant I spent most of monday&tuesday packing, I did manage to read Wildefire by Karsten Knight which is over 400 pages, so that's not too bad and I'm also about 70% through a kindle book.
Unfortunately now I'm home I'm swapping bedrooms with my mum, which means more packing, moving and sorting! Looks like I may well be failing my challenge =[
Days: 12
Books read: 5 3/4
Leave me your links so I can see what's in yout mailboxes this week!
Are you looking for Pretty Books?

Ohhh, Forgotten and Hourglass! I really want to read both of these! :) I hope you're able to get some reading time in soon. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for following! Lots of great stuff this week, even with the book buying ban--I've heard awesome things about Forgotten, and I think I might be the only person in the universe who didn't enjoy Hourglass, so that's my problem and I know you'll love it :)
ReplyDeleteMy to-read list has gotten so out of control that I think I might have to ban ALL books from coming into my hands, whether or not I pay for them. Sigh. Like that'll happen LOL
I can't wait to start Forgotten. It sounds really good. My copy of Hourglass hasn't arrived yet even though it's now released here in the UK. (Hurry up Amazon!). Delirium seems to be one of those books you either love or think bleh. I was a love - I wonder what you will be?
ReplyDeleteGreat books! Forgotten is one of my favorite novels ever! I hope you love it too! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for Forgotten (The UK cover looks really cool) and Hourglass. Plus Delirium was awesome, I'm thinking of getting a copy just so I can re-read it. Here's my IMM: http://reutreads.wordpress.com/2011/06/12/in-my-mailbox-6/
ReplyDeleteForgotten has an awesome cover! And I have yet to read the Need series, though I'm dying to try it. And you're so lucky to get Hourglass, even for a short time! I hope you enjoy your new reads. Really.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks so much for stopping by the blog earlier!

I hope you enjoy the Need series. I do! I'm really excited to get to Hourglass too. 30 books in 30 days??? Ha! Unless it was kids books I'd fail miserably!
ReplyDeleteFor being on a book buying ban you still managed to get some freaking awesome books! I have to say I am quite jealous of your mailbox this week. Thanks for stopping by my blog today :)

Jessica@a GREAT read
I want to read Forgotten too! It sounds so good! And I am jealous of Vickie's copy of Hourglass... The cover is lovely and rather creepy and mysterious! I have also been wanting to read the Need series (if that's what they're called!). Hope you enjoy all your books this week, Cait! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
It looks like you got some good stuff! I haven't read any of these yet (I know, terrible) so I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of them. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI really like the UK cover of 'Forgotten'. I hope you enjoy it - I really did!
ReplyDeleteAnd Hourglass, oh you lucky thing! *drools*
I just reviewed FORGOTTEN! These seem like some great reads! Thanks for sharing. I'd love if you'd check out my IMM too :)
ReplyDeleteBtw, I'm loving the blog. I'm not sure if we're fellow followers, but I follow you!
Looking forward to hearing back from you,
Cory @ Anti-Drug Reads
Thanks for commenting on my IMM!
ReplyDeleteGreat books this week! I really want to read Forgotten, Delirium and Hourglass - I'm so jealous you got those! Hope you enjoy all of them (:
Delirium is a really excellent book! And I love the gorgeous UK cover of Forgotten-- much more than the US one. Hope you manage to catch up on your challenge! 30 books in as many days really is a tough one, because there are 100 page books, and then there are 600 page books. :)

Once again i am very jealous.
ReplyDelete:)
Forgotten is near the top of my TBR for 2011. Enjoy!
