  1. Hey i'm Pavan, and my favourite YA heroine is Kaylee Cavanaugh from the Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent because she stays true to her morals, and doesn't change her mind because of a guy. Also you can see she has a massive heart of gold simply because she puts everyone else before her. She is honestly a lovely YA character :)

Can't wait to read Smokeless Fire!

  2. I cannot WAIT to read this book!!! All of Samantha Young's books actually... I just recently discovered her!!

My favorite YA heroine is probably Duece from Enclave... She is such a badass!!! I love her! And even though she is a secondary character- Lilah from Rot & Ruin/Dust & Decay!

  3. I so want to read this book. My favorite YA heroine is Clary Fray from The Mortal Instruments series. She is a powerful character even when she didn't know anything about being a shadowhunter. Her love for her friends and family are what drive her to do things she has to do and even though she now has great power and is learning to fight like a shadowhunter, she really doesn't need it. I absolutely adore her in this series.

  4. My favorite YA heroine is probably Bella from the Twilight series, or maybe Julia from The Talisman series, or... There are so many to choose from, and I love them all! Why I love Bella; She's innocent and naive,in the beginning, and strong and enduring for all time. These are probably the main reasons that I would love any character, if they have some traits which I can see in my own life or in the lives of those around me (paranormal or not!). I appreciate a heroine whose character traits are good, and of which I would like to see more in my own life. I also appreciate all the little problems each character has, they give the character depth and life.
I'm loving the blog tour for Smokeless Fire, keep up the good work Samantha!

  5. Hi, I'm Sally and my favourite YA heroine at the moment is Rogan from Slumber by Samantha Young. This is definitely my favourite book at the moment and I love Rogan because she is fair, slightly tomboyish, tough, and funny.

  6. I found myself nodding along to that video - I agree with almost all those heroines! I think my favourite at the moment is Tris, for similar reasons to Samantha, but mostly because I just admire her strength and the way she always challenges herself, and tries to be better. She's definitely strong-willed!

  7. My favorite YA heroine would have to be multiples hahaha because I really cannot choose just one, but here's my reasons and who they are :)
Caia Ribeiro from Lunarmorte because poor kid is totally thrust into a world where she can't trust anyone and is totally into her "guardian" who's a little old for her :) and I like her attititude!
Eden from Warriors of Ankh because dammit if I wouldn't be a crazy person if I was a soul eater, and I had her parents- I'm pretty sure I wanted to kill her parents even after... (no spoilers) but she's gunna be ok, or I think she will :)
Kaylee from Soul Screamers cuz I feel sorry for her, who wants to know every time a person near you is going to die, and how do you make the choice to save a dying person in place to kill another... And she always seems to have horrible things happen to her and terrible choices to me, I do NOT wanna be her, but I do love her!
& last but not least: Val Shapiro from Demon Underground... Firstly, she is kicked out on her actual birthday by her mom(whom I hate lots) because she saves people... her mommy needs a slap, second, as she is learning how to live on her own, she finds out more and more things she should have known but didn't, get's left by her "crush" because he's scared of her, and to top it all, she has to save the world... I mean come on, who doesn't love this kid-- and she has the BESTEST side kick EVER-- hell hound FANG!!! I am in love with him hahahaha!! so, sorry it's a long post today, but I love these leading ladies mucho!!
