Follow Friday

It's that time of the week again! Follow friday is as always, hosted by the wonderful Rachel at Parajunkee's View

This week's question is:

Keeping with the dystopian and apocalypse theme that seems to be running rampant on parajunkee.com, I have one very hard question for you: If you were stocking your bomb shelter, what books would you HAVE to include if you only had space for ten?

Well like Rachel; I'd like to think I'd be clever enough to take my kindle; but if the power has gone off I'd take:

1-5 Strange Angels series by Lilith St.Crow (5 books-in this thought experiment the 5th book has been released!)
6. Dead to the World (Southern Vampire Mysteries book 4) by Charlaine Harris
7. Saving Francesca
8. The Restorer by Amanda Stevens
9. Clockwork Angel by Cassie Clare
10. The Dark Visions Trilogy by L.J Smith (It comes in one book; it counts!)

Gosh that was *so* hard...if I thought about it more indepth I'd probably change my mind!! Be sure to leave you link so I can check your choices out; and comment if you're a new follower so I can follow you back!!

Now, this blogger hop was created by Jennifer at Crazy for Books.
This week's question is:

"What Summer 2011 release are you most looking forward to?"

Oooh there's loads! But the one I'm *most* excited for is POSSESS by Gretchen McNeil! This book just looks/sounds so awesome! It's due out on the 23rd of August, and if you click the cover art it'll take you to the goodreads page!!

Have a great weekend!

If you're in the UK be sure to check out my Book Swap post!
My review of the awesome novel Sleight by Jennifer Sommersby

and finally!! The *winner* of my Born At Midnight giveaway is....

Mia from Book Haven, congrats Mia!! Her fantastic answer to the question "What paranormal creature would you be?" was:

I feel this life is too short to read ALL the wonderful books out there. So in answer to the question I would want to be a vampire because then I would be immortal and can go on reading and reading forever.

**SO Sorry if my blog link took you to a religious website; I promise that wa not intended, I'm on my dad's computer and the keyboard buttons are really stiff so I keep missing letters out of words. Apologies once again!**

How awesome is that answer?? Mia, I'll be contacting you shortly!!

  1. Great answer! That was a hard question - I also wanted to just bring my KOBO, too bad there wouldn't be an unlimited power supply!

  2. Hopping through! Old follower here. I think we should bunk together in our bomb shelter because some of the books you're bringing are ones I want/need. Especially "The Restorer" - wasn't that fantastic?!

  3. I'd want to take my Kindle too, but I'd be afraid that I wouldn't have enough time to get through all the books I want to before it runs out of juice. Such an evil question!

  4. I didn't even think to bring my eReader. I should have. Your link on my blog didn't take me here. It took me to a rather radical religious site. FYI. Thanks for hopping by.

  5. Great books selections! The 4th Southern Vampire Novel was pretty good!

I wanted to have the Fever series with me, but I ran out of "room". Why couldn't it have been 10 series? ;)
