So today I got a pretty amazing email from the lovely people at Razorbill UK and it included the UK cover for the new spin off series of the Vampire Academy books by Richelle Mead.
BLOODLINES is released in the UK in late august, and the cover is....
What do you think? I like how simple it is, and I LOVE the title part, but I feel the image in the middle is like a bad tattoo. Not sure what the logic behind that one is. It also doesn't seem to relate at all to the story...
what do you guys think? are you fans? or do you prefer the US cover...
Let me know in the comments!!!

Personally, I prefer the U.S cover. The U.K cover doesn't seem to relate to the novel at all or show it's beauty. I agree with you, it does look like a tattoo that when wrong.
ReplyDeleteVisit us sometime! :D Thanks for the post, Cait.
Honestly I think it's pretty cool! I definitely prefer the UK cover! ;)
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a bad tattoo, but I still like the UK cover better. The US one is super cheesy IMO.
ReplyDeleteI love both covers but I really like the US one just because it's more like the Vampire Academy novels. I mean, they also had different characters on them rather than graphics, but I do love the UK one too :)
ReplyDeleteUK cover all along! If I saw that in a book store I'd buy it for sure!
ReplyDeleteI really like the UK cover, though I agree the US cover fits with the US Vampire Academy novels perfectly. I like the simplicity of covers without human models sometimes, personally. Thanks for sharing this! :)

It's beautiful YAY. I prefer it so much. Didn't like the US one so much, reminded me of Christmas.
ReplyDeleteAlso looks like Ed Hardy tats
ReplyDeleteTo be honest...I don't like either! I'm not a fan of the models on the US one but the UK one seems so random and ah...I don't know. I think I prefer the US one, but only just :P.
ReplyDeleteI really don't like both, but compared to the US cover, the UK version is better imo.
