Best of 2011 giveaway hop!

I'm taking part in the 'Best of 2011' giveaway hop hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer! Originally I was going to give away my favourite book of the year which, if you saw my post yesterday, is Divergent by Veronica Roth. However, I feel like EVERYONE has read this, so instead I've decided to give away my 2nd favourite, a book I also feel is SEVERELY underrated!

And that book is....THE DEMON'S LEXICON by Sarah Rees Brennan!!



It's a perfect example of YA urban fantasy AND it's set in England AND it has a smoking hot love interest!! It's also got some of the funniest lines in it I've ever read! I genuinely feel like everyone needs to have read this book! You can see my review of it here.

    Thank you for the giveaway! I have a dozen favorite books this year, but I think Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake is at the top of the pack for YA (Hammered by Kevin Hearne, overall). Funny thing though - I haven't read Divergent yet! It keeps getting pushed down on my TBR list. I think I should remedy that.

    HmMmm ive read so many books this year, some crappy and others tear jerking, but so many that i cant think of a favorite from my huge collection, my favorite at the moment seems to be Hidden Heart, but it might be a bias answer seeing as how it was the last book ive read recently and it was also really good :)

    I would have to say 'STARCROSSED' by Josephine Angelini and 'LEGEND' by Marie Lu. There are so many it's hard to just pick the best one ;o)

    I've read some amazing books this year, but I think my favourites were 'Long Lankin' by Lindsey Barraclough (so creepy!) and 'The Princess Bride' by William Goldman (plain old hilarious).

    My favorite new book this year was Found (Brides of the Kindred) by Evangeline Anderson. It's the fourth in the series and it was an amazing continuance. I cannot wait to read the next one.
